Bike Riding With The Lebanese Army….

On the occasion of the Lebanese Army Day, The CyclingCircleTeam  headed by Karim Sokhn, organized, in collaboration with the Lebanese Army, a bike ride around Beirut.

Over 70 people, civilians and military, joined in the day ride that started at the LA military base in Beirut, where we all signed the Lebanese flag. Weather was perfect, sunny with a light breeze.

Escorted by the Army jeeps and the ISF for a safer ride, we took off for one of the best rides I have done with Cycling Circle to date.

Along the way, a short stop at the Memorial of the Lebanese Army Martyrs, before we headed up to the military school where we met with the Army General.

Riding back to the Martyr Square in Beirut Central District was quite an adventure…

End of the ride, all smiles and tiredly happy 🙂

Can’t wait for our next ride…
